Eagle Creek Local Messenger Bag - 2008

Bike commuters, bike messengers, students, and others will appreciate the Eagle Creek Local Messenger Bag. The Local Messenger is a comfortable, classic courier-style front-flap fold-over bag. The large main compartment sports an internal divider designed to hold a laptop sleeve, paperwork, or files. An inner organizer keeps smaller items in place for quick access and the mesh side pockets keeps a water bottle handy. The subtle back zippered pocket gives you a place to store more valuable items like money, credit cards, and identification. Eagle Creek also thought to add a reflective strip to the Local Messenger for added safety during the evening commute.

This bag is of a higher quality fabric than my last bag, American Tourist. The water bottle slots are great for Nalgenes. The space for my books is great, but the amount of padding leaves me weary of long hauls with my laptop. The water-resistance works great so far. Being a college student that rides my bike everywhere, this is just what I was looking for.
