Use the Eagle Creek Instant Messenger Bag for school, work, and everyday errands. The Instant Messenger's main compartment is just the right size for books, folders, or magazines, and the fleece-lined front zip pocket provides soft, scratch-resistant storage for your Blackberry or iPod. Stash a water bottle or other quick-grab items in the mesh side pockets. The covert back zippered pocket keeps your wallet and other valuable items close and secure. Eagle Creek added an inner organizer panel to keep smaller items readily available, and they finished off the Instant Messenger with an adjustable padded shoulder strap complete with a non-slip finish.

goldilocks bag - just the right size

When a bag's too big, I fill it with everything and it strains my shoulder. When it's too small, I can fit the bare essentials and it strains my patience. This bag is just the right size for my vital stuff + my little laptop + a few other whimsies. I just took the bag to Europe as my carry on & it was perfect. Taking it to China later this month.
