You can fit a lot in this bag! Just got back from a week long trip and there was more than enough room to fit casual, business and dressy stuff. Love the big outside pocket - kept my wet shoes away from the rest of my things. Padded handles are much appreciated. Eagle Creek makes great bags, wouldn't choose any other kind. And backcountry service is fantastic. Ordering the smaller version and various pack it cubes today!

The layout of the bag is great but very heavy to roll...not very well balanced. The big zipper on the outside is strong and easy to zip but the first time it came off the luggage belt the front pocket zipper had bust open. The handle was difficult to lower and zip up when checking.

When the bag arrived, I was thrilled. A friend had just purchased the same one and we were all a twitter with the features, quality, etc. I was off to Italy for three weeks and despite warnings from my partner to 'pack lighter' I wouldn't listen. Well, I'm listening now, and ordering the smaller bag for future travels. This one would be ideal for a) staying in one location for a long period, or b) running away from home without leaving anything you love behind... But, filled with wine and olive oil and all things Italian in addition to the clothes I'd brought, this bag was hard to manage on the train station steps. I'm strong, but man, this bag can really hold some weight!

So, I recommend putting some helium filled balloons in before filling it with heavy items. All who travel with you will surely be grateful that you did!

This is a great suitcase. It weighs about 2 pounds lighter than most bags and this makes a big difference when trying to handle the bag as a piece of carry-on while flying. The size is awesome. I took it to Israel for 8 days and still was able to carry everything I need including books, an extra pair of shoes and gifts. I really appreciated not worrying about whether my luggage was going to be lost because I had everything with me. The telescoping handle was adjustable so I, a shorter person, could handle it with ease and my husband, a taller person could also adjust it for his height. Can't wait for my next trip so I can use this suitcase again.
