Dynastar PX 14 Racing XXL Ski Binding

If you see terrain with the eye of a mountain goat on PCP, the Dynastar PX 14 Racing XXL Binding is a must-have. A short mounting platform allows the ski to flex naturally, while the re-centering heel actually extends pre-release, giving you a chance to recover before you eject, and thus allowing you to run an appropriate DIN setting for your weight.

  • Full metal housing for years of reliable performance
  • 25mm of elastic travel in the heel eliminates pre-release
  • Teflon glider and 180-degree toe release saves your knees
  • Wide 115mm brake accommodates fat skis

Bottom Line: Go big, stomp hard, and stay in your skis.

Hey sha3411605, that would be a bit wide for a 96mm ski. The problem in getting brakes that are too wide is that the brakes can stick out too far when the ski is on edge and has a chance of hitting the snow as well. I would suggest the Rossignol Freeski2 140 with the 100mm brake. That should fit perfectly.

Super bargain

I took my Line Motherships to Utah a few weeks back unmounted - hoping for some fresh snow which didn't materialize but no matter - it's all skiing - and I had to find somewhere to score some sweet and cheap bindings just after landing from the UK. I checked Backcountry.com but I have to say that I found a better deal elsewhere :0(Discretion prevents me from saying where, it's not too tough to work it out though) I paid $200 for them, got 'em mounted for $40 at the Lift House and they were superb for the duration. Over-enthusiasm cost me a couple of quite big crashes and they released when I needed them too and didn't when I didn't. What else can you say ? As Dennis Green might've said: 'Those PX14s are what we thought they were....THEYRE WHAT WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!!'

Yea sure but it's a good idea to change a brake for smaller one b'cos 115 is a bit to wide for S4.
