Awesome Pack

Awesome pack. Was kinda skeptical of the Deuter brand just because I had never heard of it. Bought this pack because of all the features it had. I am definitely not disappointed by it. I love the way the harness fits and distributes the weight. Haven't got to use it as much as I would like but am completely satisfied with what I have used it for so far

Why is this pack so much heavier than the ACT Lite 50+10?

The 50 uses Ripstop 210 fabric and the 55 uses Ripstop 330. Also, the hipbelt and suspension on the 50 supports a max pack weight of 40 lbs whereas the 55 can support a max pack weight of 55 lbs. A heavier suspension is used on the 55 vs the 50 and the 55 uses heavier more durable material and fabric.
