Demon Snow Flex Force Low Armor

No matter what your skill level, protecting your tailbone, ass, hips, and thighs by wearing the Demon Snow Flex Force Low Armor under your pants is a great way to ensure you’ll be walking normally at the end of the day. High-density air shield foam cushions those body parts that take the big hits when you start pushing your limits. Pads over tail bone are heavy-duty for maximum protection, while lower-profile pads on butt, hips, and thighs ensure you don’t have a J-Lo butt when you suit up. Demon Snow made all of the pads removable, so you can customize the protection to your liking.

Bottom Line: Save your ass, wear some pads.

Feels like you have a tail

By:

I tried 3 different brands of impact shorts for snowboarding and these were the best. But they're not perfect. The other two were seirus and crash pads. The Demon Snows offer great protection but I found the tailbone protector to be extremely uncomfortable to sit on. It is a very long piece of hard plastic/foam that extends below your butt all the way to your lower back. It felt like there was always something sticking out the bottom of the shorts, like you had a tail. I'll have to keep looking.

Magic Underwear

Tailbone and butt cheek protection are where it's at. These are lower profile than my last shorts but protect better by moving the padding where you need it instead of where you don't. Minimal padding on thighs and hips mean great mobility.

The tailbone wrap is really nice. You still feel it at the end of the day, but these shorts prevent the dreaded "day-ender" tailbone masher.

Look at the sizing chart, right below the size/option selector, which is right below the price.

Satisfied

These have great tailbone protection and that is why I chose them. They are not bulky at all and are very comfortable; I don't even notice them while boarding. If you want something that is not noticeable but provides great tailbone protection I would definitely recommend these 100%.

Better than the rest

I tried a few impact shorts and these things blow them out of the water. Really it comes down to tailbone protection. These shorts have a tough tailbone pad that extends ABOVE the drawstring waistline, so it actually covers your tailbone. The other shorts I've tried only protect below the waist. The thighs are mesh and don't get hot. I'm taking off one star because the cloth under the drawstring is kind of rough against the skin. I'm a 30" waist and a small fit great.
