Darn Tough Merino Wool Over The Calf Ultra Light Ski Sock

Ski and snowboard racers and those with tight boots will appreciate the Darn Tough On-Mountain Merino Wool Ultra Light Ski Socks. Darn Tough, a third-generation family business, made and tested these socks in Vermont's mountains, and guarantees them for life. These ultra-light socks feature soft, non-itchy, insulating merino wool with nylon for durability and Lycra for a snug fit. A reinforced heel and toe means your big toe won't poke through, and Wickit Dry Technology ensures your feet won't get clammy and cold when they perspire. Plus, wool doesn't retain odor, so you won't scare off your friends when you undo your boots.

Bottom Line: Get on the mountain and ski or ride hard in your Darn Tough Merino Wool Ultra Light Ski Socks.

Just the finest

Found these last year and had one pair. Wore them every day, sometimes five days without washing them, I know, thats gross. They never got stinky or stiff. They still look like they did wen I first wore them. Not sure what makes them so good but buying a few more for this season.

like em

ok so they are great for hiking or anything else you might need a thick sock for but I don't like them in my ski boot they are to coushie and there for abrasive with heavy use on the inside, I am going to stick with the Smartwool for skiing, but I will use these for every thing else.

do these fit pretty true to size? i'm a size 12 boot/shoe

do these fit pretty true to size? i'm a size 12 boot/shoe and am wondering if i should grab these in a size L (9-11.5) or an XL (12+)... i know the size charts tells me to get an XL but i'm afraid that since i'm right on the border between size, the XL might stretch too big after a few uses and washes, and eventually bunch up inside my snowboard boot and become too loose... any fit info from Darn Tough sock users out there would be appreciated.

you were right when you said they'd stretch beyond your foot size. Scale down for a premium fit.

Darn tough they're comfy!

Putting on a pair of socks for the first time is never really too exciting but the first time I put these Darn Tough's on I was pretty stoked! They are very comfortable and contoured to the shape of the foot. Also they are pretty warm for not being a thick, bulky sock and seem to breath well.

Good Ski Socks

I really like these socks and would highly recommend them! They allow me to feel my skis easily and there is no rubbing or pinching. They wash and wear well and the fit is as advertised.

I dig them

These are good socks. I like to own alot of ski socks, you can't have too many. These are moving their way up my list of favorite ski socks, who knows..they may soon become my favorite. The wool sees to be higher quality than some wools I have seen on socks.
