After riding these boots for a good 15 days so far this year from nasty Washington nights where the snow was cold cement to epic face shot powder days in Utah I have to say these boots excel everywhere. The lateral rigidity provides an amazing level of control from edge to edge. I will warn anyone looking at these boots as well as any 3 piece boot, the forward flex will take a little bit to get use to but once you do you'll realize how well it puts you in a true skiers stance and helps with the shock of landings, to bumps, to the nasty yippies left on those run outs.

The boot definitely runs on the small size so most likely you will be going down from what you may have been before. If you have a bit of a wider foot you may have to get some work done to get this boot to fit right. As for the comfort, after that 1st good day or 2 that you would expect with any new boot they are great and warm. The other part of the boot that i really like is the customization you can make through out the boot, from the flex to how stiff the bootboards are.

In addition to these boots I would definitely suggest a proper foot bed as the ones they provide are laughable.

Love It, hands down the best boot for my foot

The only reason I gave these boots four stars is A) I like being the dick professor who doesn't believe in a perfect score and B) The Gold Intuition liners need to be dialed in by a foot tech who knows their business. These liners will define the fit of the boot. Get your insoles, don't be cheap, buy them. The issue is that the overlap near the seam of the top-foot (lowest buckle) area needs to be perfectly overlapping, the liners need to wrap and fit in the boot perfect, and don't be afraid of pain when baking them. Buckle your boots tighter than L. Vonn on the Hahnenkamm. The performance is a neutral stance. Pretty stiff (140 setting) but super smooth articulation due to the three-piece construction. And remember Kermit was a ganster and miss piggy was a high maintenance hog who lost her frog to phat powder and huckin' stuff. God, I love huckin' stuff.

Best boot out there! This boot is so customizable and in the hands of a good boot fitter, it would work for almost anyone. You will not get a more comfortable and high performance fit than the Gold Intuition liners. Most of the top freeskiers in the world are in a 3-piece shell type boot. The Dalbello is the most customizable and durable of them out there.

Just picked these up, and out of the box I was worried they'd be to small. That's coming from and ex racer, who's used to jamming his foot into boots that are 3 full US sizes to small. I wear around a size 9.5-10 street shoe, and went with the 26.0. Well, I took them into the shop, and got the Intuition liners heat molded. Holy shit. I put the boots back on after molding, and they "fit like a glove". They went from being jammed in and painful to the nicest fit ever, while still being good and tight for the performance you want. The moral is size down, and no matter what, have them heat molded. Also, the level of customization on these boots is insane. they're pretty amazing.
