Lange Comp Pro Ski Boot - Men's

The Lange Men’s Comp Pro Ski Boot features a 130 flex rating for no-compromise performance and plenty of power. With a 97mm, this boot has a medium to low volume fit for skiers who demand precise and fast reacting performance. Double positioning buckle catches improve this boots fit, while an asymmetrical last conforms to the foot’s anatomy. A Pro Comp liner rounds out this technical boot’s repertoire.

Bottom Line: Crank down the Lange Men’s Comp Pro to experience the power and control of a low volume, 130 flexing race boot.

i wear a size 8 regular shoe. my boot shell size is typically a 7-7.5 or 25-25.5. I doubt i could go smaller in a lange low volume boot. i'm trying to decide between ordering the lange in a 25 or 25.5. i know that the shells should be identical. what is the difference between the half-sizes anyway? is the liner length actually shorter and thicker everywhere or do they just build up the foot bed to fill you into the shell. any recs on whether it's better to try smaller or bigger? it would be best to try it on, but i can't seem to find these boots in town for my size to try.

Let me let you in on the boot manufacturers dirty little secret. The only difference between a 25.0 and a 25.5 is the stock insole. The shell and liner are both exactly the same for both of these boots and are sized 25.5. Assuming that you will be using custom insoles in a boot like this, either size will work.
