Dynastar PX 12 Lifter Wide Ski Binding

Find a new level of skiing performance on the strength and awesome protection of the Look PX 12 Lifter Wide Binding. The PX 12's 12-DIN rating cranks it up when you need to charge for solid control and the power to drive any ski, at any speed. This Look binding provides the most elastic travel among ski bindings for protection of your soft tissues in compromising situations. The elastic travel gives up to 25 millimeters before releasing to help you recovering without causing damage to your ligaments and cartilage. The PX 12 Lifter's full drive toe piece adds another facet of protection with multi-directional release for your toe whenever overdue stress causes a toe release. A 6mm lifter plate puts you up on your skis, providing effortless edging and powerful, controlled carving. Look produces optimal energy transmission with the active energy transmission system in the heel piece. Springs in the heel piece redistribute pressure from turn rebounds into forward drive for more powerful, more responsive turns and carves.

Bottom Line: Lock and load with the Look PX 12 Lifter Wide Binding.

Hi Danielle,

The 5+ mm on each side should work just fine, unless you want hands down drop dead performance, try and find a 95mm brake (not sure if any are available).

Matches my XXLs which was a pleasant surprise... the pic here is NOT representative of the actual colors. Because of the heelpiece design I had to move it up a couple clicks from where the shop set the binding, just a different heel/boot combo. Haven't come out of them yet, they are solid!

i just got them off tramdock.com (sister site) the other week, same exact bindings. the bindings in the picture ARE red and black, but for some reason the colors are a little different looking than they really are. expect to get bright red on black. very nice looking!

solid binder

solid binding, it will get you out when you need to exit, and keep you in until you must leave.

i wish that rossi/dynastar/look had kept their turntable heel piece though. i'd give this binding a 5/5 if they still made them like they used to

Can anyone help me find a key for my PX 18 bindings. The rear piece requires something else than just the trusty screwdriver.

I just ordered some Scott Santiago Mission's (183). I ordered the PX12 bindings on impulse from Tramdock. I'm thinking having a raised binding on a ski with such a big sidecut will make turning almost too effortless. Any thoughts or other binding recommendations?

Don,t worry about it, the lifter plates are only 5mm you won,t even notice the difference. If you are concerned just have them mounted without the plates but you will have to get shorter screws or grind down the screws they come. stick with the px 12,s they are great. I use px 14,s on my bacon,s and love them.

Depends on which Dynastar Legend you bought. There are many different kinds with different dimensions. Check out the waist width (the second number in the xx/xx/xx notation) and make sure that you get brakes just a little larger than your waist width.
