At least in granite you really want to place a lot more nuts once you get these. You just start to see places where these fit like a glove with little effort. If I have to use a regular nut I have to fiddle with it much more to get an ok fit.
One thing is that a set of these for the same range has one less nut than say compareable sizes of BD nuts. And because you really really want to use them I quickly run out of them.

The smallest three seem to be the most used.

Do these just start at 7 and go up to 11, or are there a 1 - 6? The page listing them individually only lists 7 to 11 as well. Are the smaller sizes in offsets just much less useful?

DMM bought the molds for these nuts from HB a few years back...sizes 1 - 6 were the brass offsets, and I don't see them any where on line on bc.com. You could supplement these nuts with the peenuts, sizes 1-5, and you would be well set up for any flaring crack or pin scar.

These things are great. They have replaced the mid range of my wallnuts set (they are great too though). The taper is really nice, and they just fit. Great nuts.

DMM brought back the offset nuts. A must in the southern desert sandstone flaring cracks and damn handy in the Canadian Rockies as well. Only set I carry now. Have no idea why I would need any others.
