DAKINE Terminal Backpack - 2100cu in - 2006

Skate to school without worrying about your stuff if you hit the deck—the DAKINE Terminal backpack protects your laptop and keeps everything in check. This large day pack has space for all your text books, an internal document sleeve for your over-due papers, and a side-access, padded computer sleeve so your laptop doesn't explode when you crash. DAKINE included a CD/MP3 pocket with a cord port, and fleece-lined pockets for your sunglasses and cell phone. The Terminal Backpack's Dri-Mesh back panel and shoulder straps comfortably carry a heavy load and breathe well to prevent a dripping-wet back as you weave through campus.

Bottom Line: Commute with your goods safe in the DAKINE Terminal Backpack.

Great bag -- needs longer zipper

By:
February 16, 2007

I really like this bag. It had ample room and quality construction. I do wish that the laptop compartment had a longer zipper. I have to really wriggle my 17" laptop to get it in and my husband can't do it at all.

Great Price, Great Service - Canadians can save a bundle

By:

I live in Toronto, and was looking all over the place for the Terminal Backpack without success. Any of the Dakine comparable backup here were 99+14 tax, I ordered the Terminal for a big savings! It came in a week with no problems and the Backpack is fantastic! Great build quality, great functionality - couldn't be happier

This bag has everything I need to business travel and day-to-day commuting to and from work. The computer 'pocket' is genius. It's easy to get my laptop in and out very quickly. The numerous pockets are great. Very comfortable to travel with.

dakine terminal - the ultimate computer backpack

By:
October 12, 2006

If you're in the market for a great backpack that you can haul your laptop computer around in, stop shopping and buy this backpack. It's got a TON of storage. The inside pocket is huge, with a slot for papers, files, etc. You can fill it with books, food, a lot. The front packets have lots of places for index cards, pens, anything you need to carry. The glasses pocket at the top perfectly holds a glasses case. The side pocket holds up to five CDs or DVDs. And there is a mesh water bottle pocket as well. With ample storage for everything, tons of pockets to perfectly organize anything you need to carry, quality construction and materials, comfortable carrying with the ample padding on the shoulder straps, and a great price... there is no other backpack that comes close. You can pay more for other bags, e.g. Tumi, but no backpack will offer more.

Finally

By:
January 15, 2007

I have been going through backpacks once a year for the past 5 years. I've had a couple of Targus, a Swiss Army, amd one from Ogio. I thought the Ogio was the best backpack I could find. That was until I got the Dakine Terminal. Finally a company has gotten it right. This bad has the best features on the Targus' and the Ogio that I have own in the past. I love the side access for my laptop. Everything I travel with has it's own organized place. The bag would be perfect if it had a couple of small side zippered pockets for various chargers, cords, and stuff like that. But until something better comes around this bag is as close to the perfect traveling backpack out there!

its ok i guess

I thought this bag would would be nice and as far a size goes its fine but, like most backpacks these days it has this stupid useless pocket set up for laptops and is not much good for carrying other stuff in the laptop pocket. The pocket with the perfect spot for a Cell Phone/Mp3 player has no headphone hole and the pocket with a head phone hole makes no sense?!? for the money i would have not bought this pack if it in a store. but i needed a new bag and it seemed like the one for me. i guess thats what i get for buying online

Dakine back pack

By:
April 30, 2007

Right out of the shipping package, I stuffed my new Dakine for a road trip. This is the best back pack I have owned thus far. The external front pockets were the function I needed most and that is why I chose this pack. The lower front storage compartment is extra large to store day to day use items. The pack is comfortable and durable and I am glad I bought it. I was satisfied with the entire experience, from finding it on the web site, to the large informative images of the product, to receiving the product from the shipping company. The entire process was seamless.

Best backpack for your laptop

By: Backcountry.com Employee

I've tried several different backpacks for carrying my laptop to and from work. This Dakine laptop pack is far and away the best. Laptop sleeve is perfect. There's padding at the bottom so if you drop your pack your computer won't get damaged. There's also a side zipper pocket were you can stow power cords and such. Cell phone pocket is easily accessible on the top. Side zipper pocket where you can stash your magazines as well. Love it.

Quality construction, Excellent utility

This is a really nice bag. I bought this on the recommendation of another Terminal Park owner. I am happy with the purchase. The pockets are very well thought out. I bought this to use for work and travel. It will do both very well. The laptop sleeve seems to be very universal. My laptop's dimensions are 13.5" X 11" X 1.5". There is room to spare for larger laptops. Smaller laptops would also work well. The padding is sufficient to handle big or small laptops. You really can't go wrong with this pack.
