DAKINE Sequoia Glove - Women's

With tons of technical materials for protection and comfort, the DAKINE Women’s Sequoia Glove stands above the rest when it comes to burly weather. The Gore-Tex insert provides guaranteed waterproofing and guaranteed breathability while you shred the nasty, and a removable fleece liner lets you dial in just the right amount of warmth for the conditions.

  • Thermocore insulation provides tons of warmth for crazy cold days
  • Rubber-Tec palm resists abrasion to add durability
  • Pre-curved finger construction allows for a solid grip and increases dexterity
  • External waterproof zippered stash pocket stashes your chamois and other necessities
  • Chamois goggle wipe cleans your foggy gogs
  • Nose wipe on the thumb keeps your sniffer clean
  • Internal heat pocket lets you stash extra warmth when it gets downright nasty outside

Bottom Line: Versatility, comfort, and warmth.

I usually wear mediums but have short fingers. The fingers are too long. While it is warm and waterproof the gaiter part of the glove doesn't extend far enough over my jacket. If you have to remove your gloves for any reason they are difficult to put back on and adjust when it's windy or snowing when your other hand is gloved. If the gaiter was made with a stiffer material and more extended it would work better. I use these as my backup gloves for snowboarding. I break them out for milder conditions. When it's nasty out I use the Black Diamond Prodigy but that glove is twice as expensive. Bottom Line: If it fits your hand it's not a bad glove for the price.
