DAKINE Low Roller Snowboard Bag

Embark on your next pow safari with the fully padded protection of the DAKINE Low Roller Snowboard Bag. Slip your boots into the two exterior pockets and use the full-length zipper to easily insert your board and bindings. The Low Roller has locking zippers so you can be sure no one will steal anything while you’re stuck waiting for them to de-ice the door. Roll your DAKINE snowboard bag to the cab and up to your friend’s couch with ease thanks to the urethane wheels.

Bottom Line: Take a little trip with the Low Roller.

I ride a 155...with plans to probably get new longer board (160ish) next season. Would a 165 size bag be too big/baggy to carry a 155 or would it be a wise investment when adding in clothes, size 11 boots, etc? Thanks for any help.

It will be a little long for your 155cm, but you can compensate by wrapping your jacket around one tip of your board, and your snowpants around the other tip (or any other clothing.) This adds a few inches, and also boosts the protection of your board a little bit, against baggage handlers at the airport who love to heave your board. For a 160cm board, the 165cm bag will be perfect.

Nice Bag

I have the 175 cm bag so I can put my 175cm skis in if need be, and it works great for hauling around my skis or snowboard. I have size 10 boots and they fit in the pockets well. Everything's well protected, but if you need to in a pinch you can take out the skis/snowboard and fold the packed bag in half to fit it in a car or something.

This bag works awesomely for hauling around your gear and some clothing as well. The wheels are definitely beefy.

Is this bag big enough to carry 2 boards? My boards are not

Is this bag big enough to carry 2 boards? My boards are not long, but I am looking for a bag with wheel that can carry both of them.

It could be done, but most likely you'd have to remove the bindings from one board, stack one board on top of the other, and them have the other bindings just floating loosely on top. At only 6" in depth, it'll be cozy for 2 boards. Plus, you won't have any room for your other gear. The "High Roller" version is more expensive, but it's 8.5" (2.5" more that this guy) so you'll have more room for 2 boards, boots, jacket, etc.

This is the Dakine High Roller:

Great Board Bag

By:
January 16, 2010

I bought this bag for a trip to Tahoe and it worked great. I even walked a half mile to the hotel with it. It was light and mobile. The shoulder strap is well designed and comfortable and the wheels were smooth and silent. Even on rough and snow covered back streets. My only complaint was the size of the boot compartments. I've got size 13 Vans and they barely fit.
