The DAKINE Duel Backpack is a multi-purpose pack for adventures downtown. The Duel Backpack boasts 1660cu inches of space for your gear and a padded side access laptop sleeve for your computer. Getting from school to your favorite skate spot has never been more enjoyable—organize your phone and small stuff in the two external zipper pockets, and tune out the traffic thanks to the Duel Pack's CD/MP3 pocket with cord port. When the rent-a-cops come, slip your deck into this DAKINE pack's board carry, take out your shades from their fleece-lined pocket, and look innocent.
Bottom Line: Skating, schooling, and traveling are no contest for the DAKINE Duel Backpack.
My Dakine Dual backpack has been the savior for me this school year. This backpack is large enough to carry a whole weekends worth of clothes if you going out of town (trust me i pack A LOT), it can easily carry all your school stuff, and its comfortable enough to carry wherever you go. But at least for me the most important part of this backpack is that it looks great, and it matches everything. I would recommend this back to anyone guys or girls. My Dakine has been my all time favorite backpack.
I love this bag! It fits my 15" laptop perfectly and it's not super bulky either. Plenty of room for all my travel needs. I recommend for any petite girl who wants a laptop backpack that's not overly huge.
The Dual is a perfect bag. It has all the room I need, and feels and looks great. I would consider myself some what high fashion and also high function, the Duel (and seems all the DAKINE bags) server both schools. Shortly after getting the bag, I was riding downtown in the rain, it was bone dry inside. For me the most important feature is the separate compartment for the computer, and its damn cool that it is a almost hidden side pocket. Over all, I am as excited about my DAKINE Duel as I am about my new Mackbook Pro.
This backpack is perfect for day-to-day hauling. I bought it for school, but have been using it back and forth between work this summer. It's proven to be really comfortable and looks great.
Has excellent utility; love the two small front compartments. The lower compartment has very useful dividers for hauling your cellphone and ipod, along with a key attachment.
This exactly fit my needs. The laptop access via the side panel zipper is the best solution I've experienced easy access, no fumbling with other stuff in the pockets...make sure you zip it before carrying! Traveled with this and it is a great way to go if you like to pack light. Bought 2nd one for my sophomore high-schooler because he liked it so much.
Love it. It's so comfortable. One thing that isn't the best is that the mesh pockets don't expand that much so when you put your water bottles in them it takes up some inside space. Say if you had some binders inside it might be difficult to put them in if you have two water bottles in the side mesh pockets because they're bulging in.
This is a nice pack, but too small for a 17" HP Pavilion. I managed to squeeze my notebook in, but barely got it back out. So, I had to ship it back and got a Kensington pack from E-Bags.
My roomie advised me that this pack might be larger than I'd like, but to be honest, it's perfect! The pack isn't big and bulky, but still has enough space to store my laptop and books. Definitely would recommend this to anyone!!!
