These are super nice mits. Really warm and they fit true to size. The gore-tex doesn't hurt either. My hands haven't even gotten damp.

I will be ordering the rover mittens for a 14 year old boy. He wears a size large in gloves. Will a large in the mittens be too big for him, or do they run about the same as a glove would fit?

They fit pretty true to size, a large might be a little too big. I'm 6'1" and i have pretty big hands and I got a large.
