DAKINE Bronco Glove

DAKINE's Bronco GT glove provides snowriders with an excellent all-mountain or freestyle Gore-Tex glove. DAKINE packed the low-profile, low-bulk Bronco with a heap of features. This Gore-Tex glove keeps your hands dry in every snow condition you can think of. Super-durable rubberized palms take your abuse, and deliver superb grip. The Bronco’s midweight fleece lining ensures a cozy feel and help wick excess moisture away from your skin. The nose wipe thumb panel saves you from embarrassing moments with strangers on the lift. Zip the waterproof neoprene wrist cuff closed and keep your hands dry all day.

Bottom Line: DAKINE designed the Bronco Glove for those who shred the resort no matter the weather conditions.

I Agree... Flawed Design

I like the look, and feel of the glove but i wore it one day early season, and the thumb and index finger were torn. I agree with "genebike"

cool, but not good enough

The bronco has a really cool design, but in that there are some serious flaws! The seams around almost all the fingers ripped within some weeks of riding. These gloves will never last more than one season if you are an eager rider! The only reason it gets two stars is that the gloves are quite warm, until the seams rip.

Would you recommend getting these or the cobras?

No, cobras are better quality, i bought these then they ripped on the index and thumb the first day. I now have purchased the cobra mitts and they are better.

Flawed Design

I had 2 pairs of these gloves, neither lasted more than a month. I bought one from here, and another from Dakine themselves. They both ripped in the exact same place: my right index finger. Now I ride regular, so I'm using that had more to work the bindings, but that shouldn't matter. To contrast this, I've been wearing Burton AK Guide Gloves for 2 seasons now, and they look pristine. Fortunately the Broncos were just my backups.
Dakine replaced these with a set of Cobras, hopefully they're better.

Love these gloves

By:

These gloves feel awesome and are low profile so the cuffs of my jacket fit nicely over them. They are great for 20 degree to spring weather, however for super cold days you will want to bring some heat packs. After two seasons of frequent and hard riding the fingers on mine have frayed a bit and I probably need to replace these. Still... for the price, these gloves cost me less than a dollar a day to own and were well worth it.

good glove

as stated they are best in 20 degrees and above
i highly suggest you get them a size bigger than the size chart or what you normally wear to help with the index/thumb ripping issue
most gloves will rip when form fitted

Good gloves

By:

These gloves are nice for those mid-temp days. They are low profile, and allow less clumsy articulation and still keep your hands pretty warm without all of that clumsy insulation in warmer gloves. These gloves are extremely waterproof, but are not for those who will have their hands in the snow all day on those below freezing days due to the lack of insulation. All in all, I love the gloves and use em in the resort on all but the really frigid windy days.

nice but better options

this glove is sweet, low bulk and goretex, but the fingers frayed a little, and they just don't hold up as well as the Dakine Cobras. The full-leather on the cobra just lasts. If your looking for a quick fix to wet mittens and cold fingers, these will solve that for a season
