Does this bag have a padded shoulder strap??

Yes it does, the pad is one of the ones that is about 8-10 inches long and slides freely over the strap like many shoulder strap pads from other brands.

I used this this winter to transport my ski equipment, my alpine boots fit great in the bottom...helmet goggles and skiwear in the top. It's going to be perfect for bike & water sport accessories this summer.
