DAKINE Heli Pack - Women's - 540cu in - 2007

The DAKINE Women's Heli Pack holds the absolute bare-bones necessities for a quick backcountry tour or a day of in-bounds riding. It carries either skis or a snowboard, so the Heli Pack makes a great choice no matter what you prefer to ride. Stash your shovel, probe, and sandwich in the 540cu inch main compartment, and tuck your helmet into the front flap. This small DAKINE backpack includes an insulated hydration sleeve to keep you water from turning into ice if you bring along your own bladder.

Great riding buddy~

This back pack is so well constructed that you can hardly feel it on your back even when you are carrying 2 liters of water and some other stuffs. It is very handy to grab the tube of your water sleeve from the left strap while riding on the mountain, which was my biggest concern while purchasing this back pack. The size of the pack is perfect too, I usually carry my lunch, an extra pair of gloves and some snacks with me when I go ride a whole day on the mountain. It just works perfect! The only thing is the suture on the chest, where connects a piece of elastic to the chest strap, can be more stable. The suture on mine is completely gone after a few fall on the slopes. However it doesn't bother using the backpack at all. Overall this backpack is a great buy!

Great Smaller Pack

This is awesome! I have the Heli Pro as well but wanted something smaller for days I'm just cruising. It's big enough to hold lunch, an extra layer and water and some other stuff like goggles. The new shovel pouch is awesome and the hydration sleeve keeps my water from freezing most of the time in the house, although when it's about 0 degrees there's not much you can do.
