The DAKINE Grom Backpack holds all your kid's goodies for a day in class, and it includes a two-strap skateboard carry system for a little after-school riding. Tough 600D polyester material holds up to tons of abuse, so the Grom Backpack lasts through year after year of being tossed in lockers and dropped on the pavement. DAKINE gave this burly little bag two front pockets to keep pens and other small goodies organized, and a bungee system to provide a quick place to stash a jacket.

great for the penitentiary

The craftmanship was totally flawless, awesome. And the pack is pretty much indestructible. Im not a hardcore mountain man, I work in a federal prison and use it to carry my food and extra clothing plus some of my gear. It looks good and the price was great. The next pack I purchase will definitely be a Dakine, only in a larger size.
