Looking for some gloves with all the bells and whistles? Take a peak at the tricked-out DAKINE Titan Gloves. Waterproof breathable Gore-Tex inserts start the long list of features. Ultra-durable Toughtek palms keep your newly sharpened edges from causing glove destruction. The Titan Gloves also include warm Thermoloft insulation for cold days, and their removable stretch fleece liners up the warmth even further when needed. Fogged goggles? No problem. Unzip the hidden pocket, remove the chamois goggle wipe, and continue your day of freshies.
Bottom Line: DAKINE filled the Titan Gloves with features, just for you.
I've always wanted a pair of solid ski gloves loaded with features, and these have everything, and everything works great. They're plenty warm and breathable even without the included fleece liners (which are the best winter driving gloves I've ever owned, by the way), so you feel like you can take on any conditions in these things. For well under $100, you can't go wrong.
I love these gloves. The large fit me perfectly, the snot wipe and the squeegee actually work on the thumbs, and the chamois in the one pocket is nice for the foggy days etc. I love the wrist strings so I can pull the gloves off and let them dangle and not worry about dropping them on the lift etc., while still wearing the liners if I need to mess with my cell phone, or mess with a zipper, or open a can of beer :)
It was 4 degrees with 30mph winds the other day, and my hands were toasty warm.
They're well worth the money, and I recommend them to all of my friends.
These Gloves are Extremely well built. I have always had a problem with gloves tearing between my thumb and index finger, these are the first gloves that have not tore at all. They are very warm, I was out boarding in -10F with 20 mile winds and my hands were as warm as a Keebler Elf in a Tree on fire. The Rubberized palm in very nice to have, not only for strapping in but also because your palms never get wet. The Gore-Tex insulation in the only way to go when it comes to warmth. The Goggle wipe is would be nice if i ever remembered to use it...i would personally like 2 nose wipes, which by the way are very nice. The hand pockets would be the perfect size for hand warmers, but i don't think i'll ever get a chance to use it for that purpose because they are so warm to begin with. I would recommend these gloves to anyone. You DO get more than you pay for.
I consider myself and double expert snowboarder and I've been boarding for 13 years and skiing for 20 years before jumping onto one plank. I'm not easy on my equipment and demand performance. I just got back from a trip to Utah and we had all weather conditions. 60 degrees and sunny, then blizzardish conditions. These glove did me right! I had a pair of Dakine Gloves and once again went with them, but the price was right for these! I'm very pleased! Thank you!
These gloves are the best gloves i''ve had since i've been boarding 6 years went through alot of gloves, highly recomend them to anyone who wants to keep there hands warm and dry all day.
Great gloves and you get a lot for your money. Start off with the Gore-Tex inserts, fleece liners, goggle wipe, and pockets. I wear a med-large and the glove fits perfect with liners, however they get pretty roomy without them. Highly recommended!
Decided on the Titans after comparing all the possibilities for this tier of glove. They come with everything (wipes, scraper, liners, GoreTex, you name it) you find on gloves costing $50 more. . . for $50 dollars less, and after wearing them for a couple months I don't know how the more expensive gloves could be better. Extremely warm and fully waterproof, and the rubberized palm is nice and tacky. The gloves fit fairly tight with the liners in, I normally wear a medium glove but went with the large, which fits perfectly with the liners (which themselves are nothing special, just soft cloth inner gloves). Only concern is that the gauntlet is fairly bulky, if you want your gloves to fit under your coat I'd go with the Titan Short version.
Color note: the "black plaid" doesn't look quite as navy blue in person as it does in the pic, which I guess you could expect from the name.
Nice shell and liner combo. I like the thumb wipe, the zipper pouches on each glove and the attached goggle wipe cloth. If you are border line med/large, go with the large, especially if you would wear the liners alot.
I bought these for my husband as a gift. We were in pretty nasty conditions today (ice rain, and snow). He said that his goggles were freezing up and I reminded him about his goggle scrapper/wipe. One swipe and he was good to go! They were warm and dry w/ no complaints!

I bought these gloves just in time for some really cold weather in WI. They're very warm without being bulky, and allow for good finger articulation. However, they're a little tight with the liners in them. Worked great for me when skiing in 0-10 degree F weather (with handwarmers). Sheds water/snow great. Excellent value for the price!
I have owned a pair of these gloves for one season now. So far I have been out about 10 days. I already noticed that the stitches came apart after 8 days, and I am not someone who is constantly in the park or trying to grab his snowboard. Anyway, last night, the glove actually tore. I have no idea why but am very disappointed. Besides the quality issue I was very happy with the gloves and the liner. I like the fact that you can take your glove off and still have a liner on so that your fingers don't go instantly numb on the lift. Nose wipe, etc. is all great and useful. Also, like the pocket for the hand warmer. I am returning mine and hope for better luck with the next pair
Agree with the majority of reviews. Great price for a Gore-Tex glove with liner and all the bells and whistles - nose wipe, goggle cloth, goggle scrape, etc. Very warm and kept my hands dry all day.
These gloves have everything! Great price for a true high-end product. Black plaid is still very black, which i was worried about... (black not avail in xl) And yes, the glove liners are just plain sick. I don't ever want to take them off. Dakine does it every time...
These gloves are fantastic except that they are a too warm. I know this isn't a complaint that is heard too often, but my hands were dripping with sweat. Another thing that i had an issue with was the size. All of the gloves I have had in the past have been large. I asssumed that these would be the same way, but when I had received them I was overly excited and immediately removed them from the packaging before trying them on...oops! So, the gloves are a bit big for my hand size which is tolerable. The only problem is my dexterity is limited. Other than me acting like a lil' boy on Christmas and not verifying the proper size these gloves rock! Super waterproof and the ammenities are fantastic. I do not recommend for warmer weather/ spring riding if you don't like to sweat. The gloves are for those frigid days on the slopes where more than booze is needed to keep you warm.
For the price you can't beat these gloves. I have long thin hands and normally wear a size large in most other brands. In these Dakine Titan gloves I curiously wear a size small. Also, the liners when worn with the gloves are very snug. My hands were completely dry after a day of snowboarding and face-planting in 10 degree F weather. However, my fingertips were cold but I generally have this happen with any pair of gloves so it's not a fault of the gloves. I really have no complaints about these gloves especially for the price.
Generally the glove is pretty good quality. Nice pocket I guess for IDs or warmers on the back of your hand. Fits comfortably on me in a large size, and feels warm. I didn't wear them out in the weather as I'm returning them. Why? The liners suck. They are your basic stretchy liners that don't attach to the gloves. You could buy some cheap polypropelene liners in a store to get the same thing. I realize this is a personal taste but I much prefer functional liners that attach to the gloves (so they don't come out when I pull my hand out) but also ones that are thick enough to be used outside the gloves, which these really aren't. If those types of liners are ok with you (and apparently they are with lots of people because the majority of gloves out there are this way), then this is a damned nice glove :) Wish I could keep it!
