DAKINE Nomad Pack w/ 100 oz Quick Disconnect - 1100cu in - 2006

The DAKINE Nomad pack combines freeride features with hydration functionality. Straps that hang onto body armor and a dedicated helmet holder keeps you organized on the way to the trail. The Nomad's Flowlock reservoir keeps hydration in easy reach as you ride. A compression-molded back panel holds the pack's shape regardless of load size and drop-down organizer pockets keep your gear separated and easy to find. Breathable Dri-Mesh shoulder straps, an adjustable sternum and removable waist belt keep moisture off your skin and the pack in place to avoid nasty rubs. The DAKINE Nomad also has a fleece-lined sunglasses pocket to eliminate scratched and misplaced shades.

Bottom Line: Stay hydrated and ride longer with the DAKINE Nomad pack.

The DAKINE Nomad kills it

My wife and I both have this pack, and neither of us have ever seen a bag that fits our biking needs better. It holds a cross country or freeride helmet easily. The shin guard holders also get a workout when we don’t feel like sweating up the padding while riding a 40lb bike uphill. The tool, tube, pump organizer keeps everything in its placed to appease my organization obsessions. My only complaint is the bladder. While the quick disconnect eliminates the need to run the hose through the pack every time you want to fill the thing up, it has come undone a few times. Just have to make sure it’s in there good.

Awesome!!

This pack is great, I just used it on the Wilderness 101, which is a 101 mile mtn. bike race through the mountains of State College, Pa., the 100oz. bladder kept me well hydrated and it was very comfortable through the whole ride. I would recommend this pack to anyone.

So so pack

The Dakine Nomad pack is just so so. The hydration bladder is not as good as Camelbak and others that i have used. The pack is pretty good with a expansion area to hold your helmet and other stuff, but still not as well thought-out as Camelbaks.
