Craft Thermal Split Finger Cycling Glove - 2008

Give winter the finger—two, in fact—when you pull on the Craft Thermal Split Finger Cycling Glove. This two-finger glove keeps your digits agile and warm despite sub-zero temperatures. A removable fleece liner and Thinsulate insulation keep your mitts cozy during those brutal winter rides. Wipe off your snot with the terry thumb and use the velcro closure and pull tab to attain a dialed-in fit. A Clarino palm helps you keep your grip in wet, icy conditions and can hold a beverage just as well after a long ride.

Bottom Line: Brake and shift with giddy abandon with these Craft gloves.

What's the sizing like? Say compared to a men's Pearl

What's the sizing like? Say compared to a men's Pearl Izumi, or even compared to another Craft glove? I find glove sizing charts to be one of the banes of online shopping - completely useless, and in this case there isn't one.

I find the sizing right on with Craft. The biggest difference seems to be that the other gloves from Pearl seem really bulky. Also, the Craft some with a full-finger removable liner which is great so you can wash it and regulate temp. Much better overall dexterity on the Craft.

So far, this is the best winter riding glove I have used. My commute tends to be only about 30 minutes, but as long as my core is well protected, these gloves will at least keep my fingers from going completely numb even in temps down around 15 degrees for that length of time. I also haven't had problems with my fingers slipping off the STI's in the wet when wearing these gloves.
I have not crashed in them and haven't had them for very long, so I don't yet know how well they will hold up over time.

They'll be water proof for a while but are not taped. If they were taped, you'd be wetter on the inside than out. If it's cold enough to wear these it will probably be snow, not rain :)

These gloves have kept me warm and dry in rides lasting about 30 minutes in moderately rainy conditions. I have not used them yet in a downpour, but I would not expect them to shed water indefinitely.
