Columbia Snow King Cargo Pant - Men's - 2007

If you're stoked on dominating the slopes through all but the worst winter storms this winter, pull on the Columbia Men's Snow King Cargo Pants. With 10K-rated waterproof fabric and fully taped seams, you'll stay dry and comfy. The Snow King Cargo Pants' taffeta lining feels soft on warm spring days and complements your ski underwear to keep you warm in the middle of winter. Side cargo pockets hold extra glove liners, and these Columbia ski pants' inner thigh vents let you dump heat after hard runs. The Snow King Cargo Pants' active fit gives you room to move without creating plumber's crack.

Bottom Line: Columbia's Snow King Cargo Pants—just add superior ski skills and snow.

Planning to take the kids to Jackson Hole for Christmas. We've never been in snow. Is it better to get a shell pant with some good layering or an insulated pant? We'll only be farting around the area and take the kids snow tubing, no skiing.

If you're gonna be using the pants for a limited time and don't need hard-core ski level performance out of them, I'd go with insulated pants. However, if there's gonna be alot of farting around, i'd definitely go for with something with vents :P

Great Ski Pants!

These pants are very comfortable and allow easy movement. They have kept me both warm and dry. They have significant adjustability and plenty of pockets for stashing stuff. My only issue is that my waistline is larger than my legs, so they are a little long, but that's my own fault.
