Columbia Sierra Madre Jacket - Women's

The Columbia Women's Sierra Madre Shell Jacket gives you moderate weather protection in a stylish shell without breaking the bank. The Sierra Madre Shell Jacket's 5K Omni-Tech fabric and fully taped seams fend off light moisture and the fabric breathes like a fish in water. Pull the removable hood up over your head for a little extra protecting from the warmth-stealing wind. Whether you head up to the resort for a day of powder, or just head out to take the dog for a walk this Columbia shell goes anywhere you do. Take the Sierra Madre out on your next backcountry tour and don't worry about saving space in your pack because this jacket packs down small and light. Keep your valuables in the zippered internal security pocket for peace of mind on the trail.

Bottom Line: The Columbia Sierra Madre Shell Jacket is one tough mother when it comes to lightweight weather protection.

Love the jacket itself, the looks, but I mentioned before I bought it, I was hotblooded and asked if it were breathable, and it says it is, but its not as breathable as I thought due to the material, so it gets clammy if the suns shining or its too warm...for me, its good for a rain jacket on a cool day, or for a more cooler day period

With appropriate layering, depending on external conditions & temps, this jacket should be able to protect you well between 10 to 40 degrees F.
