The Columbia Men's Roc II Jacket combines casual styling with durable construction to create an everyday jacket that'll last for years. Made with Granite Cloth cotton, this lightweight yet tough-as-nails coat easily stands up to the abuse of a day on the ranch or a party at the cabin.
I know it is hard to tell from the pictures. I just went and looked at our inventory. I would describe the "silver sage" color of the Columbia Roc ll Jacket as being lighter, more silvery, almost khaki. While the "sage" color is a dark gray. I hope this helps.
Not a bad looking jacket, but like many things, shows up differently out of the box: 1) Wrinkled quite a bit; 2) a "Large" size fit me much larger than most other "Large" jackets fit me. Takeaway: 1) get ready to iron; 2) buy a size down.
I am getting ready to purchase this Columbia Roc ll jacket but I am not certain of the size to purchase.I am 5'6", 150 lbs, my chest measures 40" and my sleeve length is approx 32.5". I looked at some of the customer reviews and some stated that it runs large and you should consider buying a size smaller.
Tim, buy one size smaller than you normally wear and it will fit perfectly. I own 3 ROC jackets and they are all one size smaller than what I would normally wear. I don't know why, but these do run large. Normally I wear a large (if not XL) and all 3 of the the medium size that I own fit perfectly. This tells me they all run large. Buy a ROC jacket, you'll really like it....GTB
The jacket I purchased is great. The only issue I have is that the silver sage color on the website (Amazon.com)is incorrect. I wanted a darker color jacket. The jacket is so nice that I am keeping it , now all I have to do is find a darker jacket to purchase, Thanks once again!
I wear this all the time in spring and fall. I normally wear a XL, but the large allows room for layering. Minor issue: the 2 cuff snap settings are either too big or tight around the wrist. The jacket is a nice break from the synthetic feel and sound of most jackets.
