Fantastic shorts!

I work as a dockmaster at a local yacht club and these shorts are great! Great for warm weather and quick drying, not to mention comfortable! I love them!

Be careful...

Beware about the size of these shorts. I was looking for knee-length shorts and found these on the Columbia web site, where they were shown as having a 12" inseam, same as on this site. So I ordered them...
However, upon receiving them I realized that the inseam is 10 inches and not 12.
Needless to say I'm disappointed because I really wanted a knee-length short.

So be careful with garment descriptions, there are some errors!!!

Tight Fit

These shorts didn't work for me due to their tight fit. I didn't realize when I ordered them that they were meant to be so tight. Other Columbia shorts I've worn are usually much looser.

I like 'em

I bought one pair and liked 'em so much that I bought a second. They do fit a bit snug to the legs, which I actually like. However, it can be a bit of a challenge when scrambling but I just pull up the legs a bit. Overall, I love the fit, the length and pockets.

Short Sizing

So, I haven't actually worn these shorts, but upon surfing the site and reading the reviews I just wanted to point out the Backcountry.com's description clearly stated at 10" inseam. So, for me, a 5'10" male, shorts with a 10" inseam are knee length shorts and any longer and I would be wearing man-pris.
