Can you tell me how long this jacket is? Where does it hit, at the hips, above or below? Also, is the jacket slightly cinched at the waist? I don't like the boxy look of columbia, but they do make nice jackets.

I've seen this in the Winter 08/09 Snow+Rock catalogue and the colour is much stronger and brighter which is what I liked - the picture on here looks slightly 'washed out'. Does anyone know the exact colour?

runs smaller than my old ('99) columbia 3 in 1 coat.. The medium I ordered was much smaller than the medium I already had. ... so think it runs a little small. other than that the color of the coat is slightly more saturated than displayed online, and is gorgeous.
