The Lhotse and the Rodeo Magic are both good looking and well priced... making for a good battle!

Great jacket

Keeps you warm and dry. Excellent fabrics for the shell and the liner. Well priced. A little bit tight underarms. Wear it in town or on the mountains makes no difference. Recommended.

i have had this jacket for 2 seasons and have taken it on several long trips in thewinter including skiing, ice climbing, and winter camping and have always been warm in it even when the temp dropped down below -30 degrees F.

There is no temperature rating for apparel like there is in sleeping bags and such. There are too many variables. I will tell you that this is built to be one of the warmest, most resilient interchange jackets in the line for this year. The zipout fleece lining jacket is not the skinny, thin stuff...

Great Coat

By:
November 10, 2009

My son chose this jacket online and I had it sent to him in college. He loves it and the color is really nice. It's a warm, versatile jacket. The only thing he wasn't crazy about was the red/orange shiny zipper. It looks kinda plastic-like and a little too shiny. However, since a return would have been difficult (He went 2/3 of the way across the country for college.), he kept it and really does like it. Very nice coat! He is very handsome in it!
