If your kids are headed off to summer camp, the Columbia Ibex Kids' Rainsuit should be the first thing you pack to keep them dry. This totally waterproof, seam-sealed rainsuit can handle downpour after downpour. Your kids can wear the Ibex Rainsuit on a hike without drowning in sweat as it has front venting on the jacket. Columbia gave this rain outfit a snap at the hem so your kids won't drag it through the mud. A trouser snap pocket gives them a spot for their granola bar and a compass.
Bottom Line: Send your kids off to camp with the Columbia Ibex Rainsuit, and they'll be completely protected from rain.
We bought this for our son age 4 after searching many websites to read descriptions of the size ranges and there were sooo many different descriptions that we took a chance and as it turns out it is 2 sizes too big. Still it is a good suit, seems sturdy enough and he can wear it in maybe a year or so from now. Probably the should have got the size XS, the S is really big
The quality is great, we ordered an XS and it's quite big for my almost-3-year-old, but he can still wear it comfortably if we roll up sleeves and pants. He'll probably fit into it for at least 2-3 years. My son just loves it.
Well I would go with the XS if you can find it, our son is 4 and wears size 5 clothing and he is in the upper average range for height & weight and the S is really to big, XS would work better and he would even have some room to grow.
Bought two, one for my son and one for my daughter. Although way too big for them, I'm really pleased with the quality of the suits. They can still wear them with the sleeves and pants rolled up and they'll eventually grow into them. Would definitely recommend!
