Columbia made the Women’s Hydro Mama Plaid Shirt with UPF 30-rated fabric so your torso isn’t exposed to damaging UV rays and so the fabric won’t absorb tons of sun-heat (and then pass that heat on to you). Flip up the collar for extra neck protection and count on the vents to help dump excess hottness while you hike. An active fit gets rid of the dreaded boxy look.
