Columbia Hood River Classic Pack - 2040 cu in - 2006

The Columbia Hood River Classic Pack is perfect for hauling school supplies or all of the necessities for a weekend day hike. Columbia built the versatile, classically-styled Hood River out of burly 600 denier polyester so it can take the abuse of daily use. A side expandable water bottle accommodates up to a quart sized water bottle and keeps the water on the outside of the pack so you don't end up accidentally soaking your gear. S-curved ergonomic shoulder straps and a padded closed cell foam back panel ensure lasting comfort on the trail or the trek to school.

Bottom Line: The Columbia Hood River is a Classic weekend warrior Pack—perfect for school during the week, rugged enough for the hills on the weekends.

It's good quality stuff, but it's your typical campus backpack, rather than a real outdoors, hiking-type daypack. Perhaps they should change the description here.

Purchased product for my son as a school book pack. It is well constructed to handle the rigors of a young teenager. Very impressed with value and fast ship. Plan to order again.
