Columbia Grizzly Gulch Set - Toddler Boys' - 2008

Don’t let weather prevent you from taking your toddler boy outside. The Columbia Grizzly Gulch Set gives your tot protection from snow, wind, and frosty temps. The Grizzly Gulch reversible jacket features lofty Faux Down, which holds in his body heat, washes easily, and doesn’t lose its insulating features when it gets damp. Columbia stuffed the bib pants with non-bulky insulation, so your boy will still be able to run around. Grow cuffs let you extend the hemlines, so you don’t have to get a new jacket and pants a month later.

Bottom Line: Before you teach him how to make snow angels or go sledding, dress him in this jacket and pant.

I would suggest a one pice suit to help insulate the lttle guy. Try the Little Matterhorn Suit. It's been one of our top kids styles for years.

Sizing VERY small

By:
November 28, 2008

Just a warning that the sizes for this snowsuit run extremely small. I ordered a 3T for my 3 year old son who is 36" and 33lbs and the snowpants are easily 2" too short and the jacket is really short on him as well.

Toddler Coat

This is a great jacket for an active older infant/toddler. Haven't used the ski pants yet but the reversible coat is GREAT.

do you agree with the previous review writer that your sizing is small? My son is almost 3, and is 36" tall, and I see that you only have 2t or 4t in this set, and was thinking if i could get by with the 4t without it being waaay to big for him. (what are the measurements if you dont mind, before I buy)> Thanks.

I have never heard of our youth sizing being small before. All of our youth styles have a great history and the fit block hasn't changed. We do mak ethe set in a 3T but BC.com is currently out. The 4T may be a little big now but fit perfect for next winter.

"Faux Down"

By:
December 9, 2008

We were looking for a down jacket for our child and found this one.
However we did not read closely enough and ordered it only to realize when the jacket arrived that this is "Faux Down".
I am not sure why would a manufacturer need to mention that something is made from a "Faux" (not genuine) fabric/material.
We will return this jacket but wanted to make other people aware that this is not a genuine down jacket if you are looking for one.
Also, my child would not allow me to zip the jacket all the way up since the zipper was hurting her neck. There was no cushion or fleece there to prevent this, like usually found in other jackets.
All in all a disappointing buy and we have to pay for the shipping to return this too :(

Well past freezing, especially if he's running around. Probably good to the low teens.
