Columbia Ginger Jacket - Women's

Columbia made its Women’s Ginger Jacket with Omni-Tech waterproof breathable fabric to protect you from the elements when you ski. Then Columbia stuffed the regular-fit Ginger with non-bulky insulation, so you stay warm in arctic temps without feeling like a marshmallow on two sticks. Radial sleeves and articulated elbows mean your jacket won’t ride up or constrict you when you lift your arms or plant your poles. Should temps thaw just a bit, open the underarm vents to let air flow. The Ginger’s hood zips off so it doesn’t get in the way when you wear a helmet.

Bottom Line: Add some warm spice to your ski outfit.

Are the jackets sized to take into account the fact that you will be wearing thick ski pants underneath? I don't want to get a jacket that's too tight around my waist and hips, due to the ski pants underneath.

Your ski pants shouldn't be thick enough and your jacket shouldn't be tight enough to make a difference.

Disappointed

I decided to send the jacket back after looking at the real thing. The digitized looking specs were a bit bigger and more noticible then I'd hoped. Felt like it would be a nice, warm jacket, but I really wanted a simple looking ski coat.
