I love these pants so much I now own them in 3 colors. These fit me perfectly. I don't believe the sizing chart is off at all. I have read all the reviews and think some consumers are overlooking the fact that the cut/style on these is "active fit" and low waist fitting. These pants are trendy and not the typical boring granny look. They have a low waist which is not for everyone but if you have a petite frame then you can appreciate the waist not reaching your armpits for change. I thank Columbia for making different fitting pants to suit different figure types and age brackets.

Awesome looking pants and fits nice. Looks great for the job, but I don't think they would work well for the rough and tough hiking.

These were wayyyyy too tight on me. I'm a size 16 in all other Columbia Titanium, but for some reason this didn't fit me. Couldn't even zip it up. Too bad because they definitely look cute.

Love this product. The fit is great but you need to buy one size larger than what you would normaly wear. The fell is also wonderful. I want them in black.

I ordered these pants in a tall, and I'm really not sure what the deal was. Perhaps it was just labeled incorrectly but these pants didn't even reach my ankles. I am wearing another pair of Columbia pants in tall right now and they fit perfectly. From what I can tell in the description, these weren't supposed to be capris, but that is how they fit.

Fit is great on my shorter frame (5'3). I bought an 8 (usually wear a 6)...they are cut small through the hips and thighs. I wish they had a bit more stretch to them but they are lightweight and very comfortable. They really hold their shape...and I could honestly get away with wearing them to work on casual fridays.

These are good pants, but definitely made small. If you order a whole size larger and they are only bigger in the waste, there are buttons to make the waste smaller. The whole pant is small, especially in the thigh, where you want room to move around in as these are "Explorer" pants :-)

I've had these for a little while and the first thing I noticed was they fit great. BUT be warned: I think Columbia has 2 different size charts. Other reviewers mentioned that these run small but they fit me fine, just like my other Columbia pants. However, these Explorer pants were a return for a size 6 Columbia pants (another style) that were enormous. The "small" 6 was perfect. I would've preferred a darker color but now am happy with the fossil after our weeklong heat wave where I could comfortable wear these in the sun rolled up, then move into the office, unrolled. Like 2 pairs of pants. I look forward to wearing them in SE Asia this summer!
