I wog (walk/jog) in all kinds of weather and this vest is just the right warmth for those cold NH mornings. It isn'mt too puffy and the length hits just right so it is not a bother when jogging. I love that the pockets zipper. I would definitely would recommend this vest.

Machine wash or dry clean only?

You can machine wash it but it has to be in a front loader and you need to dry it on gentle cycle with tennis balls so the down doesn't clump. Look at Columbia's website for better instructions. Dry cleaning's bad for the down though.
