Excellent fit

I tried many soft-shells for the right balance of fit, water/wind protection and style. I have broad shoulders so buying a fitted jacket is always a challenge and while I usually wear a Medium, this jacket in Large is slim enough to wear over a t-shirt but with just enough room to layer underneath if necessary. I've worn the jacket in 20-30 mph wind gusts and steady drizzle and was warm and dry with little more than a shirt underneath. The soft-shell material isn't stiff or "crispy" and it has just the right amount of very thin micro fleece in the interior to keep you comfortable. I'm so pleased with this coat and it was well worth the extensive search!

One note: there are some odd-looking seams down the front and back of the funnel neck and while at first I thought they were weird, I've gotten used to them and don't notice them anymore. I've never seen seams like these on any other coat though I assume they serve a purpose to help make it fit better.
