Columbia Cascade Creek ll Water Short - Men's - 2008
If spending time in the water is in your foreseeable future, don't forget the Columbia Men's Cascade Creek II Water Shorts. These relaxed-fit shorts dry quickly when you crawl out of the lake to go on a sandwich run. Use the Cascade Creek II Trunks' self-belt to get the fit just right and stash your car key in the security pocket. Mesh liner briefs add security while you swim.
Bottom Line: Pull on the Columbia Cascade Creek II Trunks and get waterlogged.
TOTAL WORTHLESS SHORTS MADE FOR THE HOOD BUT NOT THE OUTDOORS. These shorts are way to long for outdoor sports and hiking. Pockets are down by my knees! Also, I like sun on my legs. PLEASE bring back the Columbia Snake River Shorts that are or were the best shorts made for the outdoors! They were just the right length.

Comfortable to do everything from swimming, hiking, or just wearing as everyday shorts. You really can't go wrong with these shorts or any of Columbia products.
Have several pair of light weight cargo shorts that I'm wearing out. Got two pair if these and found the perfect replacements. Light weight for all types of activity and good looking to boot. Multi use is terrific as I live in them all summer. Have to buy more as they were hard to find.
The mesh lining isn't especially tight (and the leg-holes can be stretched out even more if you desire). However, like most liners it can chaff if you spend long times hiking in them.
I use these for swimming, and I like them because they fit well and have convenient zippered pockets. My complaint is the color: the "stone" is a very yellowish beige, nothing like what is shown here.
Will you be receiving any more of the Columbia Cascade II water shorts this Soring in size "medium" & color "tin"? Love these shorts and would love more in that size and color. Thanks.
I've been looking for a pair of water shorts for a while and I could not be happier with these shorts. They dry very fast and are comfortable. I'm quickly becoming a big fan of Columbia for all my outdoor gear!
Question.....Comment...Are you going to be getting more of the Columbia Cascade Creek water shorts in size medium? I will pass along to you that the sizing with this new model is much different than last year. I got large last year and they fit perfectly....this year with a large the elastic doesn't even touch my waist...I had to get medium. I have a feeling you are going to be needing more medium than you may have anticipated.
