Columbia Bugalution Boot - Men's - 2007

The Columbia Men's Bugalution Boot feels like a trail shoe, but its waterproof nubuck uppers and Thinsulate insulation offer protection for all your winter adventures. Columbia constructed this boot with its Flex Frame technology, which features a durable yet pliable polyurethane chassis for support and defense against rocks and sticks. A Dri-Lex lining wicks away perspiration, thus preventing clammy feet while you hike or snowshoe. In the Bugalution Boot's footbed, Columbia included a ThermaShield insole to reflect body heat back into the shoe and an EVA midsole for cushioning. An Omni-Grip rubber outsole has snow-and-ice-specific traction and resistance to arctic temperatures.

Bottom Line: If you don't like the feel of clunky winter boots but you do require waterproof protection, go for a winter hike in Columbia's Bugalution Boot.

If you want to look good while getting frostbite

I returned these to Columbia. You can feel wind blowing straight through these boots. You can feel the wind from your cars heater blowing through them when you get in your car in the morning. Not waterproof either.TERRIBLE boots!!!

Hate the cold, went skiing for first time, needed boots, looked and looked, 10 degrees in tahoe, boots were great not even a chill in my feet, very comfortable, only wish available in wide width with the wool socks and all, just packed away waiting for nextyear.
