Columbia Blizzard Buster Bunting Bag - Infant Boys' - 2008

After hearing about all the features and cozy fabrics in the Columbia Infant Boys’ Blizzard Buster Bunting Bag you’ll probably be ready to crawl inside an adult-sized one and let someone carry you around on frigid winter days. This bunting bag uses warm polyester insulation and Sherpa trim for coziness and fold-over hand flaps so your little kid’s digits don’t get chilly (and so you don’t have to mess with miniature mittens). The front zipper extends from the neck opening down to the bottom of this Columbia bag for easy diaper changes, and an attached hood eliminates the need for a beanie. There’s also an opening in this Buster Bag for seatbelt access.

Bottom Line: So … do they have adult sizes in these? Oh wait, no one is actually going to carry us around all day. Dammit.

BABY BUNTING

Love this- keeps baby very toasty and he looks like a little elf. Adorable and functional- the hole for the seat belt is great, covers his hands and he can't kick anything off. Great deal!

Is there some sort of layer behind the seatbelt opening so when the child is being carried independently of the car seat, there isn't a draft through those holes?

No extra fabric in the opening. Honestly you don't need it. When the baby is out of the car seat, the hole pretty much is closed...like a large button hole. I actually use the opening to put my hand through, to hold the baby more securely; you will be surprised of how slippery the shell of this bunting bag is.

Love this bunting bag

This bag is very attractive and warm. I love how easy it is to zip up the baby. I had another coat (from a different company). It was difficult getting the baby's legs inside the pant leg. Also his pants would ride up. With this bunting bag, you just lay the baby down and zip him up....you won't wake up a sleeping baby either. My son is a big 6 month old. I got the 18 month coat, the lenghth is great. The sleeves are a little long, but i just fold them up when it's not too cold out side.

Great product

I actually ordered two of these, as I have twin 3 month old boys. Backcountry had the best price I found online. I really like the bunting sacks as they keep the boys really warm. They have plenty of room to grow into these so they should last the whole winter. The opening for the seat belt is really nice. The only thing is that I found they are almost too warm so we don't use them on longer car rides.
