I live in Wisconsin and I was wondering if this jacket is appropriate for a winter coat by itself. It can get down to below zero and we can have some nasty winter storms. Is this a good jacket for the whole winter?

Not really, If you plan to not wear anything under it and it will be that crazy cold..go for a high end down coat.

RECOMMENDED!! The nicest insulated lightest jacket I've ever worn. The hood with the faux fur is like having ear muffs on! I find it to be very comfortable as well.
