Columbia Ashtanga Knee Pant - Women's - 2008

The Columbia Women's Ashtanga Knee Pants work wonderfully from yoga to Pilates to chores around the house. These fitted pants made of four-way stretch material hit about mid-calf, staying out of your way during an inverted triangle pose. Omni-dry stretch jersey has wicking capabilities, so you'll stay drier as you work up a sweat doing chaturangas. Columbia added a hidden multi-functional pocket in the Ashtangas to hold your yoga punch pass, chi, or whatever.

Bottom Line: The Ashantanga Knee Pants are like Om on your legs.

Love these pants!

By:

I'm really happy with my purchase. I'm 5'8 and normally a size 6 and I bought the Small Black. They're an extremely flattering cut, not too tight or too loose around the waist, the length is perfect (they hit just past the bottom of my knees), and I like the back slits. The small side pocket is a nice touch. I bought these and the Columbia Omni-Dry Summit Sister Knee Pant and love them both.

Great pants

These are super comfortable and awesome! A little wide at the bottom for my taste, but I have skinny calves that are hard to fit.. Great for any workout!

Great Pants

I've been wearing them to dance class all the time since they came. They fit wonderfully well. The fabric is a little thick but they'll get you warmed up in no time.

Love 'em!

I love the length on these pants, even though they go below the knee. I wish they would have had different inseams for short and tall women. These are so comfortable that I wear them to bed!
And as I always say, remember NOT to use fabric softener when washing!

Extra small = Big size

By:
July 29, 2008

I'm disappointed with this product. I ordered extra small and I was very happy when I received it. The material was awesome, unfortunately, when I tried it, the pants was big. If you want to order this pants make it sure to order a smaller size. Too bad they don't have extra extra small.

COOL

By:

They are so soft! Hmm, you might want to order a size smaller because they run pretty large. I have cool calves so the slits in the back show them off
but really, they let me move more!Runn run

the best

By:
July 22, 2008

embarrassingly enough, I actually wore these pants every day from the day I got them to the day they were so crusty I had to peel them off (about 6 days later). They are amazing. Feels like you're wearing your pjs. Go straight from hiking with the dog to running errands to climbing to the restaurant. Do go smaller rather than larger. I am 5 foot 2 and they hit me in just the right place just below the knee. love these!

Love 'em!

In my mind, these pants are perfect. Great fit, weight of fabric is substantial yet not too heavy. I use them for hot yoga, they stay put and dry quickly. I am 5'6 and they hit a little below my knee, which I prefer. I agree that they do seem to run large --in my case, had to return for a smaller size but with the lightning fast shipping, that wasn't a problem at all.

Cute, but a little large

By: Backcountry.com Employee
April 11, 2008

These pants were super cute, and seemed pretty comfy. However, they seemed to run a little large. I usually wear a small, but these bunched a little bit in the crotch, and were also a little long on me(I am 5'2)

Looks cool, but not the best for intense activity.

By:
June 30, 2008

I do like the look of these pants. The fit and seaming is flattering, as is the little back slit on each pant leg. I bought these for ashtanga yoga, and though I DO like them, I probably wouldn't recommend them for an activity as intense and sweaty as ashtanga...when you get really sweaty, the material is just not as comfortable as cotton. At 93% nylon, think wet pantyhose. There isnt even cotton in the crotch, which really should be standard in any workout wear. That said, I do like these and will happily wear them at home, and really for anything that doesn't leave me soaking wet! As everyone else says, they run very big. I have these in Small, and if they were any larger, they'd be too big. That's kind of nice, cuz I haven't been a Small in anything since second grade!

Columbia pants

Love these pants because they are extremely comfortable and stretchy, allowing me to wear them biking, hiking, climbing, and running. The hidden pocket is great for carrying your credit card, cash, or a key when running around town.
