The Columbia Men’s Air Chamber Parka includes an Omni-Tech HP shell and Microtemp-insulated liner. Use them together or separately to match the weather conditions. Regardless of rain, snow, wind, or freezing temps, this three-in-one Columbia jacket keeps you dry and warm. Or, if the temps rise a bit, the Underarm zips let you vent instead of overheating. Great jacket. Got the black one mainly for use as snowboarding and all around wear as it lacks flashy colors as many other boarding jackets have. Jacket may run slightly smaller - usually wear medium, but large fit fine with some extra room if I want to wear another layer underneath. Omni-Tech system is great in terms of waterproofing (water does bead off as described). Very satisfied overall. Only minor improvement I can comment on is lack of mesh webbing in the underarm pit zips.

I'm trying to find a new 3-in-1 Columbia coat for my father. The problem is he will only wear the 3-in-1 coats if the outer shell has a dual zipper where he can open the jacket from the bottom for driving purposes. Does the Columbia Air Chamber Parka have a dual zipper on the outer shell like I just described?
