Coleman PerfectFlow 2-Burner Stove - 2008

Using the Coleman PerfectFlow 2-Burner Stove at the campsite is as close as it gets to cooking at home. This compact stove's two fully adjustable burners put out 22,000 BTUs of heat. Coleman's WindBlock system shields the burners, and the guards adjust to accommodate various pot sizes. One Coleman propane cylinder (not included) lasts one hour with both burners on high and 4.5 hours on low. Coleman made the PerfectFlow 2-Burner Stove from heavy-duty embossed steel components and a rust-resistant aluminum-steel cook top, so it'll last for ages.

Coleman knows camp stoves. This is the best money you will spend on a camp stove for this size and weight. We love them! They work great, can produce a tremendous amount of heat, or a small amount, depending on needs. Works great with 8 or 10 inch pans and the GSI Outdoor Bugaboo Griddle. Wind screen works well too.

Has anyone experienced a gradual loss of propane gas pressure

Has anyone experienced a gradual loss of propane gas pressure in cold temperatures with these stoves (using a fairly full propane canister)? Any way to fix this?

Damn you, fluid dynamics! That's just the ideal gas law coming back to bite you, colder gases and liquids occupy less space, thus pressure in the canister decreases in the cold. One trick is to rotate the canister so that it is upside down instead of tilted at an angle, sometimes that helps.

Great stove

This is a great product from coleman. When you crank open the gas and fire it up it sounds like a meth torch :P I have used this stove for cooking everything from steak, beans, spaghetti, boiling hot water and breakfast. It is a solid stove. It would be cool if it came with a carrying case rather then having to purchase one. But that would be the only negative. My dad bought his coleman stove in 1978 and it still works perfect. I was going to purchase a stove that had a built in ignitor, but I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this product.

I have an older Coleman stove and have been widowed, leave in a disaster area. Would you know where I could find a manual for my stove? I am afraid to light it because the cylander goes right over a burner into the receptacle and that doesn't make sense to me-afraid it might blow up. Any info would be a help. Thanks even if you can't help.

You would most likely need an adapter for it, but those can be found at most camping stores, some even have two or three hoses, so you can run multiple propane appliances off the same 20 gal. tank.Try this link for the adapter:http://www.coleman.com/coleman/parts/PartsDefault2.asp
