Coleman Northstar X6 Tent 6-Person 3-Season - 2008

The Coleman Northstar X6 Tent is kinda' like a vacation house in the woods, except the rent is much cheaper. This massive 112sq foot tent includes two rooms and a large vestibule for plenty of storage and living space. The Northstart X6 Tent's tall interior allows a six-foot person to stand up straight and move around freely. Coleman added four doors to allow access to this tent from all sides, so your entire family can come and go as they like.

Bottom Line: Big enough for the whole family.

In the screen room portion, is it possible to cover the window screens? Do they have panels that zip over the mesh / screen panels or are they always open?

Great Cabin Style Tent Coleman Northstar X6

Well to start with we got a great price from Backcountry Sports. It took a little longer than the sales rep said to get to Canada. It seems that our Cusotms are a little offf level. But it did make it four days before we were set to go.We unpacked the tent and it took about 25 mins to read the manul and get her up. Found it really easy just take extra care when clipping the black clips on to the poles. When setting up the frame work insert each set of poles into its crossmembers then pin them into the black strap. Be gentle they do flex when going in.

The Fly, holy cow is it huge, just go slow when you streching it over the frame and inner tent Found out to pull the windows panels over last, they dont slid all that well over the frame work.I always buy tents with a full Fly. This one goes over the floor seam and is about 2 inches off the ground Great stuff. The floor seam is 3 inches off the ground and has one main seam down the middle.

The awnings and vestabules are fantastic and the screen area is a good size. The sleeping area will fit a queen size stand up bed, nice. Lots of vents and screening too in the sleeping area. Really nice having the four door too.

Take the time to seam seal all the seams on the fly and the floor seams from the inside, you will not reget doing this Even though the seams are taped use McNetts seam sealer.

We tried it out in the back yard and found no moisture build up from sleeping and it keep the heat in . We are set to go for 5days outing. I feel this tent is the castle in the woods.Lots of room.

Small points make sure you re-knot all the ropes on the tent the factory knot let go, use a bowline Also there are no ropes in the kit for the awning tent poles so buy some before you go out. Can't wiat to try it in the bush Good camping to allJohn Kesseler aka the polarbear

I have been camping for more than thrity yearsThnaks to all the people at Backconrty for working so hard to make Bonnie and Myself happy customers

you can get upright poles and an adjustable ridge pole from Campmor but anything else that would be manufacturer specific is long gone. They also can fix or replace your zippers.
