Cloudveil Inversion Jacket - Women's

The Cloudveil Women's Inversion Jacket's 700-fill down insulation makes it warm and light enough to take out ice climbing, winter camping, or backcountry skiing, and the slim fit and diamond stitching let you wear it out to the bar after an epic day. Cloudveil gave the Inversion a DWR-coated Pertex shell to fight off light snowfall or the occasional blast of powder on a backcountry ski run. The tricot-lined pockets thaw fingers after a long ice belay, and when the temps rise, the Inversion stuffs down into its included stuff sack.

Bottom Line: From the backcountry to the bar scene, fight off winter's chill with the Inversion Jacket.

Help!I need a jacket that is warm! I live in Edmonton AB and today it is -33F! I bought a down coat from LL Bean last year size XS it is huge and not very warm at all. I am looking for something waist length. We do a lot of winter activites and want to be windproof and cozy. Thanks for your help!Kathy

Hey Kathy, I have this jacket and it rules. It is longer than a mountain hardwear coat but just as durable. It hits below the waist just at the hips for me and I'm an XS. It is WAY warm and worth the money esp if you can get it on sale. It is not waterproof but for all outdoor activties if it's not dumping snow or rain you're all set. You get way warm if you're moving in this, I ski in mine under a goretex shell and i'm soooo toasty. I do not believe it is totally wind proof but it rocks just the same.

Best Down Jacket

this thing rules. I got the Xs because the mountain hardware coat made me look like a marshmallow. This is fitted but yet still performs. I was skiing in below 0 temps the other day and put this on under my gore tex shell and I was SOOO WARM. It is great around town day to day and does well hiking and walking too. Stylish and still technical, I love this jacket and if you can grab it on sale it's so worth the higher cost. My only beef is my feathers when I first got it were coming out a little bit with the fine 700 fill down, but that seems to be lessening now. Great coat, do it.
