Great layering tool. Construction isn't as bomber as expected, but generally a good level of confidence that the jacket won't rip or tear. Good pockets with great and tacky zipper pulls. Very helpful to use with gloves on. Good value for the price.

I love this jacket. Its super-ultra lightweight and very warm. Its not as puffy as most down jackets out there so you can wear it out on the town without looking like marshmallow backcountry boy. Its a great layering piece and packs down to about the size of a Nalgene (maybe smaller). I originally bought it for very cold temps but I don't it would cut it for sub-zero. However its turned into a great down sweater that I will bring along on 80% of my backcountry ventures from summer peak baggin' to fall backpacking.

This down sweater is the newest piece in my clothing line up. It packs small and w/o the hood it is an excellent and easy to wear insulating layer. Super light, but super warm. Wearing this jacket made me remeber how much warmer down is then my old smelly synthetic jacket. Never again will I go without this jacket. more then a layering down sweater this jacket looks so good alone I find myself wearing it out on the town even when it is warm enough to go without.
