Chaco Paradox Shoe - Women's

It’s pretty obvious that the polyester webbing on the Chaco Women’s Paradox Shoe gives your foot plenty of breathability and a quick-dry cover, but what isn’t obvious is the benefit of the BioCentric footbed. Let us fill you in. Aggressive arch support, a sculpted heel cup, and heel risers control pronation, center the foot, and increase lateral stability, so your foot feels comfortable on your hikes and river runs. And at the bottom of it all lies Chaco’s grippy, non-marking outsole.

Bottom Line: Quick-dry upper, super comfy under.

Does the Chaco Paradox for women run true-to-size? Does their size compare to the Chaco ZX/2 sandal? I wear a size 8 in the ZX/2 and it fits perfectly. Will size 8 in the Paradox be the same?

Love the footbed, miss the Vibram sole

I am a house painter and needed a pair of shoes for the summertime duties of crawling around on roofs and running up and down ladders. I am literally on my feet all day long in hot and precarious conditions. The Chaco Paradox is probably the most comfortable work shoe I have ever owned (they also double as hiking shoes after work and on weekends). I don't get backaches, nor are my feet sore at the end of a day's work or hike. I'm pretty rough on my shoes, and these have taken all sorts of licks and bangs in stride. Two things though: first, if you wade in the water, they will take longer than a day to dry out completely. Second, the recycled rubber soles aren't as grippy on wet rocks or metal roofs as the Vibram soles on my old pair of Chaco sandals (the Z2s I think), and the soles also seem to be wearing out faster than a Vibram would.

Wow...my daughter took my chaco sandals back to college with her after spring break.....so i bought myself a NEW pair. Paradox is the best. I can't remember ever having a more comfortable, supportive, attractive pair of shoes. I absolutely love these. I injured the ball of my foot in January and have struggled all winter to get it healed up. These shoes are the ticket.

I have a short, wide foot with high arches. I like wearingflip flops, but there is never any arch support in them. I came across Chaco's line in a Dultuh, Mn store whileon vacation up north. I tried on a pair and fell in love with them. There is no better arch support in a flip flop than Chaco's and they hold their shape. The contour of the foot bed fits my hard to fit foot precisely. They are comfortable and supportive. You won't regret purchasing Chaco's flip flops at all. I normally wear a 6.5 shoe so I buy my flip flops in a size 6. I've had mine for two years now and wear them daily. I'm buying another pair as I speak. So glad they finally have a web presence. Minnesota was about the only place I could get them two years ago and I live in Florida.
