Chaco Intersect Sandal - Women's - 2007

The Chaco Women's Intersect Sandal features an orthotic foot bed for incredible comfort and leather for a classy look. The supple leather straps, paired with colorful webbing, stretch back farther on your feet, so these sandals stay on better than the average flip-flop. The comfy leather foot bed feels good on your skin and offers arch support, shock absorbance, and stability to your hardworking feet. A Vibram rubber sole on these Chaco Intersects provides excellent traction on nearly any surface.

Bottom Line: Once you put the Chaco Intersect Sandals on, they'll be on your feet all summer long.

sizing

I normally wear an 11. I tried another flip flop from Chaco in that size and it was too narrow. I then ordered this particular style in a 12 thinking it may be wider. It was not. It's not the foot bed that is too narrow, it's where the strap bases are placed. My other Chacos (sandal) fit perfectly in an 11.

fav flip flop!

This is now my favorite casual flip flop I own. I wear it all the time! I got these for free and got them in a size 8, that is the same size as all my other chacos. These are a bit short on the length, I was skeptical about it, but after wearing them a few times I was hooked on them! I would like them in a size bigger for that extra length in the heal area. Right now it is just bearily perfect for my foot. So size up one size if you like to have extra length on your flips. This also does not make that annoying flip sound and stays snug to your foot. Love them!

I normally wear a 5.5, should I get a size 6 in these shoes?

yeah, i'd size up to a 6 for a better fit. this model tends to run a bit shorter the other chacos for some reason.

Great support for a flip flop

By: Backcountry.com Employee
June 4, 2007

After years of wearing the flat, foam soled, cheap flip flops (and killing my arches in the process) I decided to spring for these. The support is what I expected from Chaco and they feel great on my arches. I have a tendency to get blisters from most flip flops if I'm on my feet for an extended period of time, but I'm blister-free so far with these shoes. I had to go 1/2 size larger than normal for a proper fit.

Like your own foot

These sandals conform to your foot as if it was your own foot. When you walk, there isn't that slamming down of the heel, the whole foot just rolls naturally. And when I wear them, I get a ton of compliments. These are great sandals, like all Chacos, and are super cute. Might just be my new favorite sandal!
