Chaco Canyonland Mid Trail Shoe - Men's - 2008

Chaco has brought its high-quality standard for sandals into the shoe world with the Men's Canyonland Mid Trail Shoe. The Getagrip outsole's grippery-when-wet ability carries you confidently across rocky streams and rained-on Moab slickrock (they don't call it slick for nothing'). The Dual Zone lacing system specifically customizes fit to different parts of your foot, and abrasion-resistant material extends the Canyonland Shoe's life for years of rough adventure. Mid-height and a compression-molded midsole provide lightweight support.

Bottom Line: Shhh…if you listen hard you can hear Southern Utah calling your name.

I too have got really wide feet and they're different sizes to boot. However, these shoes have worked out pretty well for comfort and support on my nonexistent arches. The sizing different from the sandals though, I had to go one size up from my sandals. Good luck.

Good all-around shoe, but not amazing

I've had mine for about 7-8 months now, and I think they're pretty good. They take a week and some change to break in, but once they do they become pretty flexible and comfortable. The Chaco comfort is there for sure, though I had to go one size up from my chaco sandals. I've taken them day-hiking a couple of times and they're pretty comfortable to walk in and supportive too. The bottom sole isn't as tough as I'd hoped, small chips started happening soon after I used them outside. But overall, they're comfortable, supportive, and solid shoes for the sale price.

They're not waterproof, but they resist water quite well, and the tongue is cut high up so water can't get in as easily.

Not if they have mesh on the top. they are meant to breath really well though. Super comfy with teh arch support of their sandals. This product will help waterproof these babies:http://www.backcountry.com/store/NIK0045/Nikwax-Nubuck-Suede-Spray-On-Footwear-Treatment.html

so far I like the shoes, especially the arches seem to go well with my feet. I also like the lacing, it is easy to put on and take off.
